Tough news for even the healthiest and best of solar companies as Germany may cut solar energy subsidies by 16% in 2011.  That could hurt the share prices of First Solar, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSLR), SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ:SPWRA) and Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE:STP)

New 52-Week Lows for Evergreen Solar, Suntech Power, and StemCells Inc.

Tough day for shareholders of Evergreen Solar (NASDAQ:ESLR), Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NYSE:STP) and StemCells Inc. (NASDAQ:STEM).  All three stocks hit new 52-week lows today including Evergreen Solar which is now trading under $1.

Chinese solar companies stocks including Trina Solar (NYSE:TSL), Suntech Power Holdings (NYSE:STP) and Canadian Solar (NASDAQ:CSIQ) are off the races today after beating the Street and are ramping up production, by as much as 40%.

Beat Street: GameStop, Suntech Power and Williams Sonoma (NYSE:GME, NYSE:STP, NYSE:WSM)

GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME) posted Q3 EPS of $0.32 beats the Street by $0.02 a share. Their revenue was released at $1.84B, which is +8.2% from the previous quarter and slightly up from Q3 2008 of $1.73B.
