Holy Hot Coffee and not the GTA kind. Diedrich Coffee Inc. (NASDAQ:DDRX) is up 6.6% since Monday afternoon as the buyout wars continue from Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ:GMCR) and Peet’s Coffee & Tea (NASDAQ:PEET).

Beat Street: Applied Mat, Green Mountain and Advanced Auto Parts (NASDAQ: AMAT), (NASDAQ: GMCR), (NYSE: AAP)


Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAT) reported Fiscal Q4 EPS of $0.13, which beats analysts estimates by $0.10. They did this on revenue of $1.5B which is down -25% for Fiscal Q4 of 2008 and up from the analyst estimates of $1.3B.  Applied Mat expects revenue growth of more than 30% in fiscal 2010.
