Starbucks (SBUX) shares hit $53.83 making a 53% return in the last 12 months alone. Starbucks continue to fire on all cylinders and packs a 1.27% annual dividend yield.  UBS put a "Buy" rating on SBUX today and lifted their price target to $61.  The firm believes the all star coffee company will increase its earnings on stronger sales growth.  Starbucks shares are now trading with a P/E Ratio of 32.2 and EPS of 1.66.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp (LGF) has become the momentum stock of 2012.  This year LGF has jumped 83% and the stock is still under $16.  Today Lions Gate hit another 52-week high of $15.30 and closed up 7%.  LGF is on a incredible tear as it gears up to premiere its epic "Hunger Games" movie.

Its dangerous to bet against this stock now but its hard to believe in its high P/E Ratio of 70.9 if "Hunger Games" doesn't deliver the goods this weekend.  The movie opens this weekend and the three-day sales forecast is as much as $115 million and $270 million over its run in U.S. theaters, according to researcher Boxoffice.com.

Cisco Systems (CSCO) hit a new 52-week high of $20.64.  The company has finally fallen back in favor with traders and analysts after getting as low as $13.30 last year.  Despite its 40% return since last summer Cisco packs a 1.56% annual dividend yield.

Bottom line: Starbucks, Lions Gate, and Cisco shares are poised to keep climbing higher. Should the major indexes continue to climb higher these three stocks are going along for the ride.
