Amex and Bank of America Lead DOW Lower


The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down nearly 2% today at $10,163. Leading the charge are Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC) and American Express Company (NYSE:AXP).

Over the past 12 months Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC) shares have traded between a 52-week low of $11.93 and its 52-week high of $19.86.  Bank of America Corp shares are now trading with an EPS of -0.19.  BAC shares are at $14.20, down -7.73% / -$1.19 which is getting close to the 52-week low.  Volume is currently at 200M shares passing the floor.

American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) shares are trading at $41.77, down -3.82% / -$1.66 and volume is currently at 4.5M shares.  AXP shares are still relatively close to their 52-week high of $49.19.  At its low in the last 52 weeks, AXP shares have traded down to $26.66.  Shares are now trading with a P/E Ratio of 21.8 and EPS of 1.95.
